Experience and Areas of Practice
The focus of my legal practice is negotiating and drafting real estate documents, resolving real estate and land use disputes and advising clients in regard to the purchase and sale of properties.
For 33 years I worked for Canadian Pacific Railway in their Real Estate Department, the last 15 years of which I was the Director for the U.S. properties extending from New York to Montana.  In that capacity I negotiated many sales and acquisitions, drafted easements and licenses and resolved zoning and permitting issues.  I managed complex easement proposals involving highways, public infrastructure and utilities, such as power lines, fiber optic cables, pipelines and signboards.    I handled the purchase and sale of properties ranging from minor encroachments to corridors spanning many counties, to houses, ranches and office buildings.  I've even purchased and sold cattle.     Hopefully I will be able to put this experience to work for you.
